PH Rolling Road Special Offer 28/12

See if your car really is powerful enough to pull you along with all that extra Xmas flab

Christmas is coming, but soon enough you'll be wanting a return to normality as you eat yet more food and long for relatives to leave you alone. To assist you in escaping the madness PistonHeads and Surrey Rolling Road present our Christmas Rolling Road extravaganza, offering a chance to meet like-minded PHers and see how much power your car really has.

Taking place on Friday December 28 we have 25 spaces up for grabs at £35 per car and as an extra incentive there'll be free tea and coffee on tap, and hot dogs and other snacks available for a small charge...

To book just send Charlie at SRR an email

I might get along to this as i had my original dyno done there. I've had a couple of mods added since then.

SurreyRR was the venue for my first ever Dyno session back in the Day with the FTOOC.

fond memories. shame the scoob isnt fully up and running yet - not sure the 206 would post worthy figures.

Are spectators welcome, and more importantly will there be bacon or some other form of fried food?

Edit-just noticed the bit about food!

Great idea, count me in,,, hang on,,, that's a 440 mile round trip. Which will cost £140, so not such good value then!

Remember, its a Dyno Dynamics roller (a proper roller) so if you looking for hyped up pub figures I wouldnt bother turning up!

Nice! My monster might prove too much for the straps, at a factory 110bhp it doesnt sound much, but the K&N panel filter should see 500bhp out of it easy.

The difference between a UK Dyno(rolling road) day, and an Australian Dyno day is quite apparent.

Tea and coffee and possibly cucumber sandwiches whereas we'd have singlets, high-vis workwear, bogans and flies.

Not to mention the last dyno day i went to was Holden Vs Ford and 'what the hell is that red Italian thing doing here?!'

Mind you the 1604bhp twin turbocharged Holden Torana was pretty awesome.

there are rolling roads that can do a few thousand horsepower, how accurate they are is another matter.

It was on a secured dyno and that is rear wheel hp not engine hp.

My 156 GTA managed 144kw atw on the same dyno.
