I was rather amused when I had my engine built by John Eales. I gave him a pair of used Griff 500 heads to work with, and he supplied everything else.
Looking at the work that he had done to the heads (which come off a car with 340 TVRHP ) in order to extract 330BHP from it made me realise that either TVR use a special type of extra dense air in their engines, or they just pull power figures out of a hat

My gripe exactly BHP from TVR = Bullshit HP. Anybody prepared to let on as to how they work out these fabulous figures??

OK but we have been over this endlessly here so it is becoming boring. Much more interesting to us all would be to hear from Magnus how he extracted 360bhp+ from a 5ltr Chimaera? How did you work out your figures Ingmar? Rich...

Simple--I uprated to 5.2 and added induction. This was in Sweden--vee are more efficient you know--and sexier!
