Stumpy oil filter
Discussion
I have now fitted the bloody Range Rover engine in my TVR!
The oil filter would normally be of a remote description, but due to cost cutting on my part I have avoided the necessity of obtaining this additional part.
I thought that the current set-up that came with the engine might just go.
It doesn't. It is too near the steering rack for a standard RR oil filter.
Does anyone know of a fairly short filter that will fit a Rover V8 pre '83?
This is only a temporary bodge until I get my 'better' engine
thanks
James

Look up your normal filter dimensions here:
http://www.mann-hummel.com/mf_prodkata_eur/index.h...
Then search for similar simensions (just shorter) here:
http://www.mann-hummel.com/mf_prodkata_eur/index.h...
If that finds you a suitable filter, then try and find out what vehicle it is for and you can order any filter of that car, or order M&H filters from the suppliers listed (they are fantastic filters)
