poorly 1.9 cdti

Hi all,could anyone help me,i have a vivaro 19 cdti which has been fine,jumped in it yesterday and not so good,the glow plug light wont go off and has no power, splutters and smokes any help appreciated,thanks DM...

The glow plug light on these doesn't just mean a glow plug fault, it also comes on with engine management faults (I know it also has a seperate management light).
You need to have fault codes read on this or you won't get anywhere with it.
(unless you have put petrol in it, they run worse from cold with a petrol diesel mix)

Just to add to this, if it has been cross fueled, don't use it until the fuel has been removed.

no def not mixed up the fuel so that one ruled out,had filter changed also,any more ideas???
