Has anyone got any experience in converting to a single mass flywheel from dual mass? What effects are there on driving, vibration, lack of smoothness?

I have a 2.0D SE Manual with a performance upgrade from 128BHP to 160+BHP, I like the smoothness of the car and don't want to compromise too much on refinement by going this route, however nor do I want to pay twice the price to change the dual mass for another similar flywheel.

Thanks

To start with you need to find out if such a thing exists.

It's basicly a Mondeo so yes they do a single mass conversion
However it will be much less of a smooth experience than you currently have

No thanks, I won't be doing that, I was just advising you to do so & as you have then you have sorted that out.
