Uprated Ignition Systems - Any Experience?

Hi folks,
Im running a V8 engine which runs a coil on plug ignition system (Nissan VH45DE engine) and i am looking for an aftermarket system that's going to produce some really heavy duty powerfull spark. I have had quite good experiences with running wasted spark setups on the Jap Engines so that's a definate possibility. I don't mind going coilpacks/leeds if i need too.
Does anybody have any first hand experiences with a system that they would recommend?

I know for a fact that the coilpacks on this engine are "Alright" up to about 800hp-ish. However they are 13 years old and Nissan coilpacks do have a tendancy to be terribly un-reliable. Plus, im shooting for about 850 - 1000hp and i want to pre-empt the "blowing out the spark" tendancy that we can sometimes have.
