Audi A3 Tdi - running poorly

Hi,

I have an Audi A3 2.0 Tdi (140bhp) 05 reg DSG. Recently its been running really badly, not starting very easily,not changing down to an appropriate gear when needed - i.e. when approaching a roundabout and i put my foot down and pull away it stays in 4th or 5th. It is also running very loudly and i have noticed a distint lack of power.

Can anyone think whats wrong or where i could take it to have it looked at - i'm in Milton Keynes.

Cheers... i'll have to try and find someone to have a look at it as i wouldnt trust the audi dealership!!
