I have recently bought a monaro cv8 2004. I have never seen one of these cars anywhere in scotland . Where are you all ?

Dave,

Norman is taking the Monaro down tomorrow night and dropping it off at Belk**bs on Monday. I'll be down on Saturday and pick it up and then off to Burghead, Moray-shire for Saturday night with my old man and his Malt whisky . I'll keep you posted.

Jeff.

damn you down here on Saturday then Jeff - if we're gonna have a mini meet it'll need to be early Sat morning then - I've got football in Falkirk in the afternoon. Guess it'll be easier if I head through to Edinburgh then carry on up M9 to Falkirk afterwards.

btw RossCowan - its not a blue one you bought by any chance? Heard reports of one in Glasgow. Mind you also heard of a red one out near Leith the other week - unless of course that's Bell-ends demonstrator?

Just booked a train ticket to Edinburgh. The boat gets in at 0700 and train leaves Aberdeen at 0755 arriving at 1022. Slowest I've ever gone from Aberdeen to Edinburgh!!!!

Keep you posted and hope the weather is favourable!

That would be good Dave. I'll get in touch on Friday once I know if the Ferry is on time etc.

Cheers, Jeff.

can't believe it - another black cv8 nearby - here was me thinking I'd the only black one in Scotland :-(

As Dave was saying it'd be great if you were available Saturday morning to meet up for a chat over a coffee. Give you a chance to see what can be done to the car as well - Dave's got his upgraded to around 410bhp and got the ripshifter fitted as well. Oh and it sounds fantastic with the new headers and exhaust.

Norman has got the car to Belmont. I phoned him this morning and he got down last night at 11.00pm but no letterbox to put the keys in ! so he had to return again in the morning. Hope to see you all on Saturday and hope it's dry to get a few pics. BTW does Superchips in Glenrothes not dabble in chipping the smallblock chevvy? If not I'm off to Monkfish in the New Year .

Just missed your post Ross, pity you can't make Saturday. I'll be down a few times early in the New year so maybe can meet then? Feb 1st to 2nd and Feb 7th and 8th in Glasgow

dunno bout superchumps - I'd be tempted to deal with someone that's been recommended on here. dastek in fife have a chip/flash for monaro but they leave it to the folks at silverstone to do iirc.
