304kw is pathetic. The L76 was putting down 280rwkw tuned in a VZ SS, which is well over 304 engine KW.
Id make mine a SS-V with the L98 engine, the heads in that are way superior to the LS2 heads. LS2 heads flow around 280cfm from memory, the L98 does well over 300. Unless you are a badge snob the performance money is on the L98 with its LS7 derived heads.

It looks like the lovehild of a Mazda 6 and a Lexus GS!! But both of which arent bad looking cars anyway....need to see it in a proper colour.
Cannot believe in Aus that an M3 is double the price of a 6L HSV Saloon. Just imagine how many they would sell here if they were £20k or even if they were £40k but the M3 £80K!!
We should protect our own car industry in the same way with import duties....

Trade protection is a failed policy.
Id rather pay less for a foreign build product than pay over the odds for an ancient featureless local made product any day.
Let the consumer decide what they should buy, why should the government get involved in commercial decisions? Since when did they know best about anything? Iraq? The Dome? yeah right.

I am quoting from the web site above, the 6L clubsport in AU is $60k the M3 $140k !!!
I dont think the HSV is an ancient featureless product, do you?
Just think how well a £30k MG ZT320 would have done here if an M3 was £75,000.....
