If the check light comes back on again pop over & I'll scan it for you the eobd readers don't always bring the codes up on the ro's
When I did the pump there was antifreeze everywhere so will take a while for it all to fully burn off the mileage one though is a strange one confused
Rammon, as Neil says above, it will take ages for that smell to go, just keep an eye on the level if it don't drop then it will def be the residue, and don't be tempted to get it steam cleaned.

Nice one Araf, your comment made me chuckle biggrin just get a new pulley set and get them changed rammon, they can squeak for years and can be intermittent

No Neil, it's the half-arsed way that the cars were re-programmed for miles.

In Oz, the service intervals are in kms. The car was asking for a 65000km oil service, but because the car has been re-programmed to show miles, it was asking for a 65000 mile service.
In the mileometer though, the software has been changed to convert from kilometers to miles, by dividing the figure by approximately 5/8ths before displaying.

From the amount of times this comes up, I'm guessing that the service indicator always shows at the mileage intervals, whether it's reset or not at the time of service.

Glad its nothing serious, didn't realise the extent of the leak or that the car was in good hands (Neil).

I guess I'll have to put up with the smell then, I haven't done anything like that amount of miles
