Monaro in the UK?

errr I think so.
Team: 608
Driver: Kerry Cranfield.
Navigator: Sean Cranfield.
Vehicle: 1976 TVR 3000 M.
There have been TVRs before. A very nice Porsche was brought over from the Porsche museum this year and raced. There is no lack of exotic cars at the Targa Tasmania if that is what you are getting at. Perhaps you might like to look at their site: http://targa.org.au
On top of that I regularly see a TVR down here.
I lived in Scotland for 5 years so I am also quite aware of the UK car situation. There is a reason that people drive hatches though: 1) fuel prices 2) insurance
Couldn't believe the cost of insurance in the UK and no I didn't live in a bad area for crime or whatever. The insurance companies over there are out for blood.
Anyway back on topic all the stuff you have said does not stop the Monaro from being a poorly thought out car. I reckon they need to do something like a VX220, by that I mean a totally different design to the rest of the range so it stands out as a sports car rather than just a Commodore with 2 doors.

Other motor manufacturers are every bit as good as Holden.
Yeah I know that, most are better in fact, but Holden are not as good as other manufacturers!

Do us all a favour and off somewhere where your views may be interesting to someone. You've posted twice and bored me both times.

When you say that Holden is not as good as other motor manufacturers, pray tell, what are you meaning ??
They certainly look ok, fit together ok, and run for hundreds of thousands of miles?
Maybe you are overcome by 'gadget syndrome' found on other Euro-econoboxes whereas Holden is a performance manufacturer in the light of the Monaro. Mind you in saying that, the new VY Commodore is full of 'gadgets'
Well well Its great to see the positive and negative feedback the HSV has produced.
I am a Kiwi currently living in the UK for the past 6 years and my dream car is the HSV, having last owned a Corvette Powered HoldenV8 the year before I came over. Insuring it for £130 a year 3rd party, at the age of 21!! Whos getting ripped off, sort it out Britain you're ripping off your own people!!
I had to substitute my hunger for my HSV with a Ford ST24(insurance and pricing), now many people downunder would not understand this as you are either Ford or Holden you dont do both it is like a religion (only better we sort out our wars on the track).
I would love to own an HSV here but as I can see the prices once these have been imported are yet again hugeley inflated go to NZ and import your own they are a damn site cheaper there.
Eminence, get a life, you obviously havent driven or owned a Holden. If you dont like it fine, I have heard of a good Robin Reliant website go pester them.
I agree that Vauxhall havent got a great name over here and personally I wouldnt buy one, but the Holden is Holden not a Vauxhall and they shouldnt be badged the same.
The HSV is a great car with a great track and road record you only have to go to Bathurst in Auss to see that.
If I won the lottery 2moro HSV it would be.
