I'd be happy with that, but want to give you reasonable deal. Can't really do that without knowing what it's worth. If you're happy parting with them for that price then you gotta deal. If you wanna wait for retail price, then fine, but if you wanna sell then how much for delivery? Or I could collect if you're anywhere near Kent?

Back with another update. I have been informed that the straight through pipes are not sold seperately, so it's not going to be possible to get a retail price. Are you happy to let them go for £40? If so, I'll have them. We can arrange delivery cost/collection if you want to go ahead. Alternatively, PM if you want to discuss.

Thanks.

hi, sorry. Side tracked and forgot to check.
How about £50 to include P&P. I am sure it will be more than a tenner to send based on weight and size.

Do you wanna pay via paypal?.

I got ya email. Send me your address.

cheers, Mike

Ok, so I have the pipes (Thanks Mike). Apart from the spanners, is there anything else I need to fit the straight throughs? Do I need to put some sort of sealant/lube on when I swap the pipes over so they don't get jammed on if I want to swap them back? or is it just a straight swap, no messing?

Just wondering if I need to shoot to Halfords to get some grease of something.

Thanks.

Spooky I have not seen this post before..

You can fit the pipes without any sealant as you can get a lot of pressure on the flanges.

If you want put a smear of copper slip on the faces and bolts to ensure an easy removal later.

When fitting do not just tighten up the bolts without checking tail pipe positions as a few mm out at the pipes means 10mm movement at the tails.

Thanks for the reply. I'll hopefully have someone with me that knows what they are doing. With any luck I'll get them on today.

Ok, so I've just got the straight pipes on. Man they sound awesome (Thanks Maverick). Not too much louder in the cockpit, just a bit bassy. Hopefully the neighbours wont complain at 7.30am Monday morning

System was all back on tight and straight. There was a little leaking around the joints, but tightened up a bit more after running the engine warm. A quick run around the block and everything seems to have sealed up nicely.

Also noticed that the near side back box is blowing, so hopefully going to get that sorted out Thursday at Greens.

One thing I noticed though, the Gaskets are in a very poor state. All rusted and one is even starting to fall apart at the edges. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement set from? They are fine for now, but would like to replace them. I take it I can't oder them from Vauxhall as it's a Wortec cat back exhaust system?

Can I order them from you Brian? Would like to get em swapped out next weekend if possible.
