Well that was a long day, but worth every moment. I don't want this to sound like an Oscar acceptance speech, so I'll just say thanks to ALL involved.

It was a super social meet where I got to see and chat to a few more of you. Even got to see the HarryOz machine live; beats shark infested custard.

And finally, just for our larger-than-life V8 lady of the forum, Mel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xb_LBf1DU4o (Push the HQ button when you get there, Mel, it'll look better).

Sad I missed it looks like it was a really good day and nice weather too but would prefer that the car was running right and give it a good run..

So... Whens the next one Jez? (June/July? when your car going to be done?)

Just for comparison does anyone (Vixpy) know what something like an E63 AMG or V10 M5 make at the wheels on that rolling road?

It makes me realise how we take our cars for granted. Looking at the list it makes realise how much bang we get for our buck. 400 hp at the wheels is more than most people's cars produce at the flywheel and the only people we are in competition with are ourselves!

Driving back from dorset this afteroon one guy in a Focus ST wound down his window and pulled along side for a listen. The passenger of another car pulled out a camcorder and started filming the front of the car!

My local tyre fitter is Australian and always asks me when I'm going to bring it in; he also shows me pictures of his Commodore he used to own at home. He still has the photos even though he's lived here for years.

Everyone loves these Aussie brutes and it made me realise how much I miss driving mine.

Out of all the RR days I do a year (40 or so) The HSV day always yields by far the highest average BHP etc

Great day out, well done Jez and Sophie for organisation and Garath for the badges.clap

Not all dude, I laid waste to a few. Tinker's healthy 427 got over 460bhp so I think only 2 FI guys beat him. Martin aka Global-i pipped me by 0.7bhp with his supercharged, forged and cammed LS1. But he is in trouble next time.

blah Until next time.

If my GCSE 'C' grade is worth anything then I calculate your dyno took 7835.3 rwhp of abuse on Saturday

Anyway thanks for yours and your helpers hard work. I'll be back soon!

Mine does not seem to slip although I consider the belts a service item now! There so cheap and easy to replace they will be done yearly and I only do about 5k/yr.

"Belt slip" sounds like something that happens when your pants fall down.
Usually at the dyno after being thrashed by an NA engine smile

Note Tinker had second highest torque after HarryOz. NA.
