I wouldn't go that far - yes mine is quick beyond 120 where the turbos make a big difference but it's not that fast below that . I've followed enough NA Monaro's to know I don't reel them in as quickly as you'd think.

Probably because my wheels spin up through 1st, 2nd and 3rd

i stand corrected not had my head under an R8 to check. they both have IRS and both use a standard spring and damper setup on the front, i guess its the wishbone part that changes..

Rear end is very different as well the r8 uses a Multilink rear end with a spring over damper assembly
The ro uses a very old design that goes back to early 80's

2 owners retired last year an got R8s
and one got a job as a taxi driver so had to sell the Ro and get one
