There was an offer of us all booking into the Holiday Inn, but it came after some had booked the Travelodge. Would that offer be available again? Can't remember who it was thyat worked there though.

Charlie:

I'm going to have to email & call you soon... 1) To meet up & say "hi" 2) and two, I may want to follow you out to Thunder Road. It would be cool to have a mini-convoy from Wales...

I stayed at the Holiday Inn last time and thought it was pretty good for about the same price as the Travelodge, lovely breakfast included. The main advantage of the Holiday Inn is everything is on site so we wouldn't need to drive for the evening meal. See what everyone else thinks.

Sean:

Did the Holiday Inn serve beer or have a bar in the hotel? (fingers crossed)......

That would have been my missus... I will mention it to her and get her to post the necessary on here but as long as she's not stepping on anybodies toes with arrangements already made... biggrin

This is the link for Friends & Family rate at Holiday Inn's...
The Holiday Inn Ipswich Orwell is £42.72 room only at the moment. Or you could try calling Central reservations office 0800 40 50 60 & asking if either Holiday Inn Ipswich Orwell or Holiday Inn, London Road, Ipswich have any teletext rates available - These include breakfast !!! Maybe a cheaper option ???

Any problems let me know.... I know the reservations manager at London Road so may be able to set a rate up for you guys depending on availability...
