Yep standard suspension here. Not looking to lower the ride height but I gather even the base Pedders are a decent improvement over standard in ride. Sounds like it might be worth checking if they have the same clearance advantages.

Pure guess, and I must apologise to James, as I didn't realise it was such an old thread that you'd brought back to life. Serves me right for not reading properly.

As for your suspension, if the Monaro is anything like the VXR8, then the springs are fine, but the shocks are budget. You can just get replacement shocks, or you can get replacement conventional suspension with standard ride height, without going over to coilovers.

I maybe sounding like a scratched record, but Monkfish will be able to tell you what options there are with Pedders suspension, which will affect the ride height, and whether there's any difference in clearance between spring cup and tyre.
