It's quite common, have you tried syringing the old clutch fluid out of the bottle, cleaning it and refilling with fresh stuff ?

I'm also starting to get this same problem, and I too have the newer TR6060 and LS7 clutch, although I have done about 45k miles since they were fitted.

I don't have an answer, but keen to hear people's thoughts...

Mine does it too from time to time. Normally after some spirited changes. I recon its old Fluid causing it. Stringed it and it seems ok. Need to do it 3-4 times to really clean it out.

Is a clutch fluid change as easy as removing old fluid then adding new then depressing pedal a few times then repeat until clean???

why does everyone do the syringe thing thing? surely a bleed does the job properly? the fluid in the pot will never really get down to the slave so surely a full bleed and replacement fluid is the proper thing to do?

Think it's where the bleed nipple is,difficult to get to nipple this is why remote bleed nipples are fitted.Fluid in mine looks ok but will get it changed anyway.

That is def the best thing to do but a lot more awkward if you don't have an easy bleed, I think somehow the oil does move back and forth in time, last time I done a full bleed the oil from master was quite clean, I was expecting it to be black, so it does help doing the syringe change frequently

Because unfortunately it is nigh on impossible to get to the bleed on the gearbox, most have a remote bleed put in when the gearbox has to come out for whatever reason ( clutch, slave, spigot bearing, rear main seal or all four ) I used to use the syringe method and it does help a lot but you do have to do it frequently.

It doesn't. there will be some other issue, or its not an LS7, or its broken in some way.

Good video that : clickable link.

I did the resevoir syringe at the weekend funnily enough. First time since I got the car 16months ago and it was pretty discoloured. Took about 4 "flushes" to get it cleaned, but it is not a difficult job.
