Further to the previous threads.....

Vauxhall have now issued a recall to attend to the potential side airbag deployment.

Each affected owner will be written to indvidually and advised to contact their Monaro retailer to have a fix effected. This will take approx 30mins. The chassis range is 6G1VX14F84L193858 to 6G1ZX14U15L525799.

Any further questions......just ask.

May be a silly question but......

Can this re-call be carried out on a Saturday morning while you wait ?

I am doing an impression of a thick person here (yes, I know it comes naturally!!)

My production number matches within the range (Chars 11-17), is it this bit I am supposed to be looking at?

To my knowledge it is all Monaro product brought in by Vauxhall. Not sure on the others but the chassis no range should alert any GTO owners to a potential problem.
