gtsr dip stick

Does any body know whether a correct dip stick was ever produced for the GTSR ? The original one was the same as the GTS and it needed to be different. I was advised that the level needs to be 10mm/12mm above the max line to get the correct oil level.

Just after I got my GTS I recived a shorter Dip Stick with a letter from HSV UK to say due to the road conditions in the UK, HSV has issued a new dipstick which will increase the sump level to avoid starvation problems caused by our roads (corners etc.)

I think it was fill to the full mark and then add 0.5ltr using the original GTS dipstick

I modified my (ex-GTSR) dipstick to accommodate the additional oil fill.

Yep Ive met the merry starvation man.
Drown him by adding another 700ml or so over the oil level especially if doing a track day.. Just make sure you dont go too crazy!

I got the letter from HSV(UK) re. over filling & that a revised dip stick would be issued. Never actually got one though!

My GTSR(009) has additional mark above the fill level (paint mark) it is about 7mm up from the old scribed fill level mark on dipstick.
