I got 2x Eagle F1's supplied and fitted by my local Kwik Fit for £240 - they price matched, then beat mytyres.co.uk where it was 99+VAT a corner and 10 quid fitting. No such thing as a price if you're willing to go haggle with them. May also want to check out blackcircles.com for pricing.

Consider 245's dude. They fit just fine you would be hard pressed to notice any fitment issues. Plus a little more contact with the road.

my old integrale came with falkens on (quite high spec ones)

were rubbish - couldnt wait to get them all scrubbed off to change ;-)

Just put on a set of Toyo Proxies T1Rs

Seem much quieter than the Pirelli P-zero's that were on for the last 10k. Grip seems good. They seem a popular choice of tyre looking around the forum & talking to Picador.

I got them for £156 + VAT a corner.

How does that compare to Falken - are they massively cheaper?

Yep. It doesn't mention 512's specifically. I guess you need a direct experience from someione. I've used P-zero's for the last 60k. I feel Toy's are better but it's 300 mile early days.

I'm going to buy them, mainly 'cos nobody has actually said "they're shit" and because they're cheap as chips.
