Nice fuel line smile

But is this a problem on UK cars? I thought it was down to poor design of the GTO engine cover?

Nice braided line, looks very good quality.

Can't help thinking it may be a lot cheaper just to either;

a) Take the engine covers off.

or

b) Modify the engine cover so that it doesn't chafe the fuel line.

Or am I being far too sensible?

I think it might be a more american problem

The engine cover was the first thing i took off

The main reason for the braided fuel line was to tidy the engine bay up. im also planning on braided lines where ever i can with black hose and black and red fittings to match the coilovers, ap's and the cars red paperbag

I see your logic there.

The thing is, I thought the GTO covers were identical (wording aside) to the VZ CV8 covers?

I may have to check mine, just to be on the safe side

I think the vz covers are the same as the gto ones.

I know an aussie jumped on the group buy and said that there have been issues over there. Maybe due to the small numbers of cars over here we have been lucky.

Worth a look though smile

This cost me $60 shipped but if you do a bulk order you can save alot on shipping

You'll want to ditch the stock fuel feed anyway when you setup those turbos properly wink

007 you will need the ls2 line which is the same price. I should have mine fitted by friday and then i will make a list.

Depending on how many people are interested will depend on the final price. If we can get 5 people then it shouldnt cost any more than around £37 delivered to your door

May I just say that even with the braided hose replacement the ridge of hard plastic is still required to be filed down on the engine cover at the point of rubbing.

If not wear will still take place imo.
