I wasn't happy with my Calipers as the decals had faded and AP wouldn't provide the 'Walkinshaw Performance by AP Racing' without a total refurb...at £200 a corner so I did them myself using Aluminium paint and red ebay decals.

Time for a change and refresh and I'm chuffed to bits how the red on black looks and ties in with the panel under the wing vent especially with the badging

What else? Oh yeah - as my wheels, mirrors and bonnet panel are in Aston Martin Tungsten Grey I 'smoked' my wheel nut covers using a smoke tint spray normally used on lights.
I also painted the wing vent in the same Tunsgsten and smoked the indicator lens so it matches the indicator lens in my mirror caps

and a cheeky badge custom made:

So all in all a productive couple of days

Very nice Gary. Did you get anywhere with the heated mirrors?
I've studied the wiring diagrams and connector blocks and no wiring exists for heated mirrors so I think I'll pop a relay in and take the switched feed from the actual 12V supply to the rear window, that way they will switch off when the rear window goes off too.
Just need to find the time............

LOL, cheers guys
Stef - that's exactly what I've done. You do need to bake the mirrors (80 degrees at 10 minutes) to be able to remove them and stick on the heated element.
I'm also in the process of adding a couple of tiny orange LEDs in line so that you know when they're on

Thanks mate, by my calculations the feed for the rear window should be in a multi plug in the drivers footwell, is that where you took a feed or did you run one from the back?Stef - that's exactly what I've done. I tapped into the feed for the rear window until a friends who's an auto electrician gave me a slap and found the relay
