With or without keys ?
They are scum........had a customer before xmas who picked up her new Disco 4 from the dealer on Friday afternoon and was gone from outside her front door the next morning.
Sorry for your loss.
Makes you wonder, in cases like this, if someone at the dealership has had another key made, while the car was in prep. They are scum........had a customer before xmas who picked up her new Disco 4 from the dealer on Friday afternoon and was gone from outside her front door the next morning.
Sorry for your loss.
I wonder if dealers keep track of what keys they code up to chassis?
I did think of a humorous response for the OP, but it really wouldn't be appreciated, so I'll ignore the little voices in my head this time.
I hope you get resolution swiftly from the insurance. As for the scrotes that took it, I'm not even going to waste comment on them.
wow guys soms over reaction here, hope they get cancer? Its an item its insured its very upsetting as I know myself but to wish cancer or other such retribution? I'd hate to see what you would do to someone accused of rape.
OP sorry to hear of this, modern cars are very easily stolen it seems if the right tools are available - look at BMW's since 2007, reprogrammable keys using ODB port. It could be as simple as a cloned key or the keys left in the car by accident

I'd say yes to say cancer is a strange reaction. Potentially via our NHS us hard working people pay for...they may be cured. SO that's a bad thing to wish onto such scum.
Something a bit more definitive like losing an arm, a leg, getting run over by a bus etc, or the most remote thing of all...arrested and jailed. Of course that last one is just a really wild idea I threw out there, we know it would never happen.
The fact it is insured is completely irrelevant, and must admit I despise when people even say it.
If someone burnt your house down would you be so calm about it ? It's insured too after all.
Having insurance isnt an excuse for letting scum steal property you've worked bloody hard to purchase, and just being ok about it.
Because you then have to claim of that insurance which costs you even more money.
But yes it is very weird for a brand new vehicle to be stolen, especially a relatively low model. It would imply some involvement with people with access to keys, immobilisers etc.

Good point about the NHS and there staff are worked hard enough as it is. as far as my comment about cancer I have watched people who have worked hard all there life played by the rules then cancer strikes devastates there life and the family. were scum like a car thief comes along thinks they can cheat life and the rules don't apply to them and coz misery to family`s like cancer so take the cancer out with cancer.I'd say yes to say cancer is a strange reaction. so what if its insured, we are having to pay for this theft throw our premiums so this little has just made my premium go up again next year and possibly the hassle of swapping it over to someone else to get a few £ off. so them little

If my house was burnt down I'd be gutted, but if we were all safe from injury I'd be happy. I'd reserve the kind of retribution you lot are on about to a direct member of family being physcially hurt by someone, then I could understand but ffs to wish physcial harm to this level is a bit of a sad insight
Lol like ppl have said it was all insured up and at the end of the day it's only a piece of nice metal. Thank god it wasn't the R8 but from what I've been told by the police is that there has been a massive increase of thefts of vauxhall parts. My only saving grace for the R8 is that there is no demand for it and know one knows what it is.
The police did tell that the VXR range are getting hit pretty hard at the moment so just a heads up for you guys.
Yep I do have both sets of keys and the car was locked twice with deadlock.
