Tremec TR6060 review
Discussion
This will be a bit short as Im heading out, but thanks to Craig at Dynotorque for the quick turn around and fitting the tr6060 in place of my t56.
Shifts are definitely smoother and cleaner and first and reverse are now as easily selectable as any other gear.
So on that basis its all good.
Im off to Scotland later in the month for a weeks travel and holiday so will test it out properly then.
Anyone wanting a 35K Mile T56 let me know

What was the total cost of the install, if you don't mind me asking?
Less than £1500.Im not 100% sure yet its worth it if the current t56 is working fine (which mine was) or as fine as they go.
But definitely for a break/fix replacement you would be silly to do anything else IMO.

Which box did you actually go for ? There seems to be quite a few 6060's ?
I see Tick and RPM in the US are offering fully rebuilt/uprated 6060's to whatever spec you want and gearset as a fully like for like swap with the T56 for $5k.
OEM is TUET7000, replacement is TUET10310I see Tick and RPM in the US are offering fully rebuilt/uprated 6060's to whatever spec you want and gearset as a fully like for like swap with the T56 for $5k.
I think the tuet runs these

2nd: 2.07
3rd: 1.43
4th: 1.00
5th: 0.84
6th: 0.57
R: 3.28
Whereas the old one might be
1st: 2.66:1
2nd: 1.78:1
3rd: 1.30:1
4th: 1.00:1
5th: 0.74:1
6th: 0.50:1
Rev: 2.90:1
