Are the superchargers any good?

GnG , What is your budget and end goal ? What do you want that you dont have now ?
Not even close to working out a budget tbh, this is a way down the road yet, think my problem is I had the rs6 before, thought I could happily drop down in power for happyness, it's not slow by any means which is a credit to its former owner but sometimes just want that little bit more.Never going to be able to put too much in as traction will be a real issue(let alone funds) and I like the fact it's my dd, but the thought of a supercharger would be pretty cool!

S/c are great and work well.
cant comment on the one you mention as i have not had that on my car.
what other power mods are on you car so far?
As far as I'm aware a k and n panel filter, 3" downpipe back exhaust, that's about it, could mess around and do headers, cai and remap first, may be enough. cant comment on the one you mention as i have not had that on my car.

I think that the bottom line is, yes, its good. However it delivers its power in a different way to the PD ones that most have.
I happen to have both types - a PD on the VXR8 and a centri on the GTS and both are very effective albeit different - its a matter of personal preference as to which you prefer I guess. Personally I prefer the power delivery of the PD.
The centris were very popular back in the day on the VT's so cant be all bad. Behold81 has fitted one to his GTS as well - by choice - so no doubt can give you his view on a centri.
At some point, feel free to pop up the M3 and you are welcome to see the 2 in action.
That sounds like an offer I can't refuse, are you about at the weekend?I happen to have both types - a PD on the VXR8 and a centri on the GTS and both are very effective albeit different - its a matter of personal preference as to which you prefer I guess. Centrifugals are great.
But do not buy a kit with no intercooler. And do not buy a kit that doesnt have a direct belt drive from the crank.
The kit pictured is the very basic one which takes the belt drive via the PAS pulley. Which is ok for the very lowest boost levels, but that's about it.
Whilst it would be a lot more expensive, purchasing the front end accessories from a 2010+ camaro, ie front crank pulley, alternator and PAS pump setup to allow fitment of their kits could make a lot of sense.
Some of the kits offered for their kits are pretty comprehensive and look very good. Plus you'd have the choice of virtually any centrifugal blower. Options are a good thing.
Sticking with the older platform you have now, there are only a couple of options. The basic CAPA/Vortech kit or Procharger. Neither of which are particularly fantastic without additional work.

Drop me an email and we can sort something out
I've never had a supercharged car, had 5 twin turbos but would like to try something different, I can see that opinions vary on here so it is quite easy to get confused on what to go for, the n/a option is more achievable in my patience bracket and can do quite a bit myself, supercharging is a longer way away and would be all new to me so couldn't attempt myself.
The picture in my original post was just there to see if f1 was more in a "postie" budget, but appears that it's not unless I'm happy to not have much gain but have a supercharged ute, cool but probably not a great idea.
Yes I could sell the ute and get an m5, e55 or another rs6 at the drop of a hat, but trying to fight my urge still, but the main problem with that is I just love my truck!

The other issue with the jag supercharger, as MYM8V8 said, is IAT. I spoke recently with the dealership about the new F-type and of course it isn't inter-cooled. It was a little alarming to discover that the sales guy didn't understand the importance of this. Shut him up though.
GNG is your car bog standard at the moment or has it had a little work done?
