Hi All,

Just to let you all know I finally collected my Beast today from Slater's in Colwyn Bay. So far the car is very very different to my previous cars - mainly clutch and gear change will take some time to get used to.

I have a strange issue, which I noticed when I collected it - the drivers stainless steel kickplate has a Pontiac logo on it and the passenger has a vauxhall logo on it. Very odd, anyway Slater's are going to order me a new kickplate, however, the garage is 110 miles away from home (so will cost a fortune in fuel to resolve).

Is there a simple way of just removing the logo rather than the whole kickplate ?? Maybe, someone has replaced the Vauxhall for the Holden logo knows ??

Anyway, I am loving driving it at the moment and look forward to finish bedding it in (which will be an age as I only drive 15 miles a day).

Cheers
Steven

Hi,

I was kind of hoping just the logo can be replaced - it does look like a modular kickplate with the button type logo sitting in the middle. Just a pain having to drive all the way at back when they unglue the full kickplate and glue a new one on.

Cheers

Hi SkyBlue465,

Thanks for that sounds like the badges can be removed separately then - good news. I will discuss it further next week with the sales guy whom is already sending me some touch up paint (just incase).

Cheers

Hi Caspy,

Doh - thats bad news, suppose it can wait for a while then. I would much prefer a Monaro dealer to do the job, just incase they think oh a Monaro lets test it out !!

Cheers
