Here is some info for you Monaro boyz:

Not commercially associated with Linden Special Vehicles so any queries you know who to contact, thought I would bring this to your attention for owner benefit not dealer wrangling.

GSI Daz, A57 HSV comments were 100% spot on, someone has to do the development LOL No seriously, the market for 50 cars is going to be somewhat limited, now with around 800+ Monaro owners things have changed and will keep evolving with new Oz supplied models on the horizon, as ever the net benefit is the price to the customer, more customers drive down the prices especially with so much competition. Once upon a time it was only LSV that could source our fettling goodies, now you have Wortec, Vauxhall, WRC and others, no doubt LSV did not want to take the changed arena lying down, we should not grumble if the prices tumble!

'All details here, we have tried this product and would suggest (for the uk market) upgraded fueling and on the road custom remap (not cd based)'

caspy, please get your facts correct, LSV have left out the CD based remap, they do their own on their rolling road & the link you refer to was based on Powerdine kit & not Vortec as offered, I just knew someone had to wade in & knew it would be you!

Original info put up hoping there would not be dealer wrangling, suppose you are posting as an enthusiast but then you say you have tried that kit, which side of the fence do you wish to voice from?

As I have gone this far I am going to add that in my opinion you alone are responsible for people no longer posting, I have been told this by several parties face to face, no names of course - rant over!

headhoon - I don't think a 5 psi blower will reduce your engine to bits in a bucket, from experience once you go past 6 psi you then need to start looking at fuel train etc but the whole idea is a simple bolt on kit without having to do all the xtras.

I'm running 8 psi & soon to go 12 psi, thats a different story

'Quite agree, maybe Will got confused regarding the spec if it is the Vortech one, as you can see from the link, the kit described appears to be a Capa/powerdyne kit to exactly same spec etc etc.'

Right, the LSV kit is not the one you are referring to, it has been put together deliberately for LSV, LSV themselves are no doubt copying the script from the supplier as I have done in turn here with my post which highlighted your inaccuracy.

‘Again, not feeling i have to defend myself but, i offered an opinion on the fueling of the system based on experience, i didnt knock the product, person detailing it or company fitting it. Hardly wrangling guys.’

I think if additional fuelling were required it would be one stupid supplier that said it would not be required within the offered package. But you are quite correct to bring the fuelling issue to every ones attention, I have had fuelling issues above 8 psi myself & I now how important it is regarding lean issues. If I am right I recollect one of your customers telling me his top mounted blower did not require additional fuelling, oh no, he told me the other week he must do it now.

No need to defend yourself, lest just say I am fed up with all the ill feeling you generate, well this is my interpretation, mind you the relationship your have with your clientele is one hundred percent, I have recommended people your way & will still do so as your reputation is beyond repute, this is why I cannot fathom why your posts occasional irritate one so.

caspy can we not at least agree to disagree and keep out of each other hair

I do humbly offer my apologies for lowering the tone of our club site (once more), but freely admit to being too passionate about my car and this club/forum.

Be nice to move on and let people salivate at getting a major useable power enhancement for what seems very little money, especially as LSV have always honoured their work.
