You're always welcome to try and stay in touch smile
wink

how did you sort out the fuel starvation problems when on track, strange how TVR marketed the Sagaris as a more track focussed car but only fitted 1 fuel pick up especially when the T350 had 2,

I also had issues when I first got mine regarding set up, I didn't like the standard dampers/spring rates on track so fitted Nitrons but then couldn't get a decent set up I liked on track until I upped the spring rates,

because of these issues (to be fair my set up issues were down to my inexperience) my Sag was nearly 5 seconds a lap slower than my Griff 500 around Oulton, even your old sparring partner "the pie man" was quicker than me.......

hi shaunsmith if you ever consider selling your m400 i would be very interested i know your probably not but if in the future you decide to please let me know as i do regret letting mine go many thanks sean and good luck to all you sagaris/tvr owners
Hi Sean

I doubt I would ever sell it to be honest unless got tired of going on Ring n Spa trips with the usual Battalion of top funny lads.

In addition, I have just purchased a set of Speedline Corse lightweight race wheels that look almost identical to the standard M400 wheels which are shod in Pirelli Trofeo tyres ready for this year. Plus a new gearbox that is having the Gearboxman's treatment which will easily be able to safely withstand 500 bhp/lbs I require this year, other little mods here n there.

The car is still like new but mechanically superior throughout yet visually standard & still very low mileage, pampered regardless of cost as my Sagaris was...

There is always a price that could get my notice but like Sagaris's the M400 is the one to have with perhaps less than 60 left.

If you had a Black DBS with Beosound to straight swap could be swayed n tempted smile

Sean

"Laughing..." sorry pal, If I did contemplate selling it would be after October plus just invested around £8K within the car with Jetstream to get it exactly how I want it for long term enjoyment etc plus for this years fun & trips.

It would take an outrageous offer for me to part with it at this time. Then I would have the issue of finding something that would match the all round pace etc on track which would be GT2 territory which don't interest me.

Your the fourth person to ask me the same or similar question since Christmas.

Anyway, surprised you let yours go especially with the spec it had & looked well too!

Would be wise perhaps to get back on topic otherwise we may get booted off!!!smile

Got to say I like the idea of the "all the 12's" the advert mentions. Nice catchy name and genuinely useful too (I like the idea of a hardwired battery charger)

Top Gear last night, brand new £200K Noble (would definitely be in my garage if I had the dosh), broke down (ok, it was the clutch), but broke down it did. No one cares which bit breaks when a Tiv breaks down - it's a broken TVR they see and tell everyone !

Impressive that they drove a replacement car all the way to Italy - doubt they'd do that if was me tho somehow ??!!

All cars break down - even my two week old shiney BM - and that's German engineering !

Of course we'd never hear if the McLaren or Lamborghini broke down, can't ridicule them!

I love the M600, pity it is £100k too expensive for my wallet though!

Exactly. If Top Gear, Evo, etc tell us about some brands' cars breaking, then they will never get another Ferrari / Lambo / etc to test..... its the unwritten rule.

Chris Harris' Jalopnik article comes to mind...

I hope the M600 sells a decent amount... its a proper car, for proper enthusiasts, with the right level of electronic aids.

Does seem that any Sag them or TrackVRoad have sells quickly, I suppose it's the piece of mind you get from these TVR indys,

where cars being sold buy non TVR specialists don't seem to sell.

I remember years ago when I think it was 5th gear testing a Tamora and a Coxster, from memory the coxsters engine blew or something like that and the Tamora was faultless throughout the test, though they didn't make a big deal of the coxsters problems, just imagine if it had been the other way round.

not a bad idea, I would be very wary of parking with thirty odd grand on a car from a private seller, but happy to pay more from a dealer with a warranty safeguard for my hard earned cash, sounds daft when you consider the difference in private and dealer prices, but unless spending £30 to £40k is an everyday occurance for somebody then you will be very cautious parting with your hard earned.

Totally agree but its a little easier when the person selling is known in the community and the car in question is known well with a TVR Indie and pistonheads. Just have to do plenty of research first.

also depends on who is supplying the warranty, garage or warranty company, if warranty company then not worth the extra money as you can buy the same warranty for a few hundred quid, though if it's a garage warranty like I believe Dom does it's well worth the extra dosh.

but if the garage goes under you're fked, I'd rather buy private, a known car that's been fully checked out and then pocket the £10/15k I've saved and keep that as my warranty.
