Approx. 11% of UK Sags are for sale at the moment, for a rare car this is a high proportion
However, this number (sometimes even higher) has been for sale throughout the period during which Sagaris prices have risen.
Yes, plus both Str8six Sags have now sold for top dollar, really fancied the Arancio Pearl Sag myself smile

Well I had a tvr sometime ago look at the sag at the min, they are nice but I just think they are not 50k car

My Sagaris is coming up 10 years old, of course there are much better cars out there for 50k but all TVR's are now in the classic collectable bracket and logic goes out the window. At the extreme, take a look at a 1985 Ferrari GTO classified section - over £1.5m! You can buy much better aeroplanes and houses for that money let alone cars! I reckon all TVR's will keep on steadily rising just above inflation rate for years to come as they are now a classic rare breed. Therefore not worth considering as an investment but great to know you can own one and not lose shed loads of money. Even if TVR come back, they won't be the same hence all current TVR's are classics.

I think perhaps it could be because the Sags are even rarer, and is seen to be the last true TVR built. Perhaps.

Because the Tuscan Convertible was the last production TVR model that went on sale from Sept 2005 and only 88 were built . Sags went on sale in 2004/2005 and 200+ sold.

I would call the Tuscan convertible a sub-model of the Tuscan, just like T350c and T350t are all just T350's.

Well you would be wrong ... A little like calling a Sag a T350 with a bump on the roof and slashes in the wings smile .

Tuscan Convertible was a completely different design body and interior from the windscreen back. If you put them side by side with a mk1 the differences are many. Even the slit-house is different.

Any dimensional differences between Tuscan targa and convertible then, like the wider track of the Sag compared to the T350?

No that I know ... But the convertible suspension was developed independently of the Targa by Ben Lang ... But the boot is totaly different, rollcage different , dash completely different until it was eventually used in the Targa in Jan'06. Oh ... and of course the roof laugh , which if TVR could have managed it ...would have been electrically retractable. Even James May refered to the convertible as possibly "TVR Swan Song" on Top Gear when Jackie Stewart took it round Oulton Park.... which of course turned out to be true.

Apparently the arancio pearl Sag at Str8six (which is beautiful in the "flesh") went for £58k. And that's with a standard 4.0

I can vouch for that. Saw it in the flesh and its immaculate
