Tasty new TVR alloys roll in
Five-spokers for newer cars launched
TVR dealer Hexham Horseless Carriages has launched a tasty new five-spoke 18-inch alloy as an alternative for the Sagaris, Tuscan, T350 and Tamora.
Already seen on one of the factory's press demonstration cars, they're an exact fit in terms of width and offset, according to the dealer.
The initial offer price per wheel is £175 plus VAT and carriage. Looks good to us...
Discussion
Is TVR going to much the max power route these days?!
Fine if that's their business model/marketing strategy and they can find customers who like/can afford it But, I guess I'm getting old, don't like the styling of the sagaris... Will be interesting to see what the first NS car looks like.

Bling! Bling!
They do look a bit "BLING" don't they
Its seems its a step towards seeing more chavved up TVR's which will be a very sad site to see. Those wheels may not look that bad in black but they look rubbish in chrome. It won't belong until some monkery puts those rims on his nova and then claims he has TVR rims on his car
Sorry TVR but they don't have my vote

I suspect the photo makes them look shinier than they really are, so not so bling. I've asked for a bigger image to check for myself.
Nothing wrong with something to replace the oh-so-common (and a pain-in-the-arse to clean) spiders. Of course you never see aftermarket wheels on Ferraris or Porsches do you? :sigh:

Are HHC sorting out the suspension setup and handling too?
My understanding is the Saggy is well sorted already in that area, and the wheels are a like-for-like fitment from the report so sounds like no other mods required.?
I'm not keen on the styling tbh, but i'm sure many will love them, and at that price they're an absolute bargain. Good to see Hexham HC trying new ideas
The same (or very similar) wheels are also listed on the TVR Power site - LINK
I think these wheels suit the Sagaris - Spiders are ok, but too common as they're the only wheel fit as standard by the factory. For me one important aspect of TVR is individuality so I'm glad to see more offerings out there for wheels.

Its a bad photo - the surface is far more matt than that (i.e. a normal alloy wheel colour). Tony at HHC pointed them out to me - they have gone this route after various people asked for an alternative to the normal spiders.
Personnally I think its a good example of HHC reacting to their customers and providing what is asked for. If you don't want them, don't buy them.
