As I'm supposedly taking delivery of my T350 mid-October I'm having a few (jealous?) mates say "Ho ho, you'll have fun in winter with that mate!". I've had a rear wheel drives in the past (2 M3s, sorry) so I know they can be a handful in the wet and cold (and thats WITH ABS and traction control) but whats peoples experience been in the Winter months? Do you put your baby in hibernation or drive very, very carefully?

Fish drove his Tuscan all through the winter, once even in about 2 inches of snow

Been there too. Once had quite a scare at Christmas a couple of years back. It was really heavy snow and I was on the A500 getting on the M6 at J16 in my first M3. There's a roundabout at the bottom of a gentle (but quite long) hill just before you hit the slip road to join the M6. Anyway, was in 3rd as I went over the brow of the hill and instead of braking, dropped into 2nd and ever so gently brought the clutch up to brake the car slightly with the engine. Despite my efforts the car went into a slide and there was nothing I could do but pray and flash my lights frantically so that any traffic on or approaching the RA could see me. Lady Luck must have been on my side as I eventually slid to a stop half way across the RA.

Snow is sooooo much fun aint it?
