Hi,

I keep looking at the T350 and having a seriously strong urge to buy one. The problem is I am located in Belgium at least for the immediate future. I know that there is an official importer here (somewhere) but I dont think they are local to me(although in Belgium it is hard to be too far away!). I have to admit I dont like the idea of being tied to one dealer with no chance of moving if the service levels are not good enough.

Before comming here I seriously toyed with the idea of a cerb, but it was this lack of a dealership network and independant specialists that finally put me off - I didnt fancy having to get the car on a low loader back to the UK should anything Terminal happen.

So from those of you who own them, would it be a serious negative to have only one dealer (within about 2 hours drive at most I guess) to sort out problems? Are the build quality and reliability now at the level where I should not really consider this to be a problem??

Finally, does anyone know anything about the Venetian Blue T350 in Henley Heritage?? I like the colour scheme and am thinking of popping over to see it - maybe once I have driven the thing I will not be able to resist!!!

Cheers,

thanks for the replies guys!

I was looking at low mileage second hand examples (see above). Does anyone have any idea if the TVR warranty would be transferable to the continent?? Would be good if it could as it would save dragging it back to the UK to have any 'fettling' done!

What are they like to drive on the wrong side of the road?? Am I right in thinking that if I decided to go for a new one, that they are available in LHD??

Thanks again for the comments...it is certainly looking more and more tempting!!

With regards to changes to the T350 as it has been developed during production, are these things retrofitted by dealers to exisitng cars or are the earlier owners left to sort things out themselves??

If I look at a pre-owend car is there anything that I should watch out for that should have been upgraded by the dealer?? What about things like luggage covers and petrol fillers?? Are these items which should have been fixed/fitted under warranty or not?

Any points to watch out for when looking at a car (snag list type things)?? Any help would be most appreciated

Cheers
A

is this something that should be fitted under warranty/as a recall or is it at the discretion of the individual dealer??

Does anyone have any ideas if the car is still under TVR warranty can I take it to the Belgian importer/dealer to have things fixed under the warranty or do I need to bring it back to the UK??

Cheers
