Need paint help please

Can any one tell me the paint code for the car pictured below, have taking it to a friend who has a spray shop but he said he cant seem to find the paint code.



Also is it applied with as a single spray then laquer (with large crystals for the high shine?)

Thanks in advance, have a body code if this helps?

Try page 73 of your owners manual. Mine has the colour & paint code written on there. If only the colour is detailed, the paint codes as listed should give the detail you need.

Cheers for that! Have found the paint code. Has two entries with different 'paint systems', 2k and Aquabase. Hopefully this means something to my friend

Oh and its on the DELTRON and ENVIROBASE systems! How do I choose which one?

post your body code of your chassis plate. aquabase and deltron are 2 different makes of paint.

R2833 is an RM colour starmist cosmos blue, this means your car was painted in RM paint. According to the lists I have it is a TVR colour only. I have a cross reference to NEXA paint with the code of 8AL6B.
Try and find a supplier of one of theses makes of paint and you should be ok.

Sadly I have had a minor mishap and I need to resurrect this thread. I was wondering if anybody could name the exact colour of my car? Body code is 8TK1B and unfortunately it is not on the paint code list. It is a light blue colour.

Any new info that comes to light if you post it I will add it to the list.
I am no paint expert I just posted the info, most of which came from Malcolm - he had some paper factory lists that I converted to PH format

Pretty sure you have posted the correct codes for the pic above - its just flickr that doesn't want to play.

Codes like this on a TVR are a ICI/NEXA code which should make it easy for anybody to find their colour, as this code entered into a ICI/NEXA database will show the colour and manufacturer of the colour used. Your code comes out as Mercedes Zircon code 555. Have a look at a colour chip first. Any problems please post or email.

Thank you very much Malcolm for your reply. I now remember that the car was advertised as zircon blue when I bought it, however I was told it was a Jaguar paint/colour. Do you know whether it is the same colour as 0258B on the forums paint code list.
