LMP tyres get >really< heavy after you've carried them for 12hrs

Jonby thanks, no amount of 'drilling' can cover all eventualities. Can't wait for the parade lap.

appologies to anyone i may have help up during the parade lap, it became quite apparent after the mulsanne straight i had no idea what the track lay out was!

I looked out for you but never spotted you

I wouldn't worry about holding people up. I was never frustrated (much) by the cars in front, I just held back at the start of each straight so I could put my foot down :-)

I think i held my own, i did get over taken by 2 v12s down the 2nd part of the mulsanne but my V8s no match for that.

I took one corner in 4th that probably should have been more like 2nd and momenterity thought "st im going off... in a parade lap" but i didnt lol.

Not bad considering its my 1st time ever on a track and im pretty sure i was the youngest person there and the only female lol

I was number 24

There was a car near me (iirc 2 in front of me) which was a v8 roadster with husband & wife - wife was driving . Very nice people

Surprised anyone overtook - it was the one thing I didn't do as you don't know how much track experience or awareness the other drivers had so much preferred to hang back to give myself room to put my foot down

What are you going to do with it?

I've got an F1 tyre at home that has just sat in the garage gathering dust since I got it.
