Paintshield Suntek II and Paddy's G-Tech - perfect combo
I put G-Tech on the wheels too, you might consider this idea
I've already got some of this stuff!

Originally designed to protect high voltage insulators on power stations from arcing across dirt build up
So very very durable smile

Congratulations Mikey! That looks fantastic - can't wait to see & hear it in the metal. Soon as you fancy a drive out you know where to find us smile

A Welsh hoon with the 'old' crew is certainly in order so mind you get it sorted soon!

Hope you and KK and Bruce the Spider (shouldn't that have been Boris the Spider?) have a fantastic time in Scotland next month.

Molly x

PS How about showing it off before the Scottish hoon:

Last Shelsley breakfast club of 2015 - if you decide to go let us know & we'll be sure to turn up and be duly impressed!

Holy Moly yikes

Paddy @ Emerald Detailing has just put 2.5 days in to JUST correcting the paint
He found a lot of buffer trails and a small amount of over spray
Paint thickness on the bonnet was twice as thick as everywhere else, I suspect its been reworked at the factory.
These two vids show the buffer trails and mark on the bonnet before and after.
You can see the reflection of the spot light in the before is a misshapen and hazy frown
After it is much sharper and uniform

AFTER

The end result BEFORE any paint protection film goes on is stunning, the film will seal it in and protect it ALL OVER.
Really pleased with it smile

These two photos are the first I've seen that start to show how Volcano Red looks in decent light
They really show off the contours and curves so well

Interesting comparison to how it came out the factory wink

How can a car of this value come out of the factory with such poor paintwork. They really should be perfect surely?

AND

I think I may need to stop looking at this thread I really, really want one and sadly can't buy one unless I sell the wife scratchchin

In fairness most people aren't as OCD about stuff like this as me. I've spent time in the paint shops of a LOT of car plants and I've not seen one (including RR) that I'd be happy with the end product from.

You could sell the boat winkwhistle

Is it that poor really? I mean unless you really examine it close up it looks pretty good (from the pics anyway). To be honest I can't really see the difference between the before and after photos!

People would complain if the price of the car went up by several 1000s because they spent 3 days per car, making all the paint work immaculate.
