Before you make a final decision, please test drive a manual(!) DBS too...
Thanks for the detailed advice my friend! Sevenoaks have the manual DBS so hopefully if they have the V12V in stock I'll be able to check out both. Not a bad week test driving a range of Astons I must admit. Test the DB9 and Rapide S? Well if you insist Sir, if you insist...
The V12V I was supposed to look at was sold....before it even arrived at the garage.
No surprise I suppose - the dealer told me there was three other people who were interested who'd missed out on the previous one that went and missed this as well. Jesus! No supply and massive demand...

Thats disappointing, no doubt there will be another along sooner or later. What are you planning to do now? Are you going to wait or take the plunge with a DBS or V12S?
Very good question! Most of the main dealers are closed on Sundays so that'll give me a day to think things over...Hello guys, just thought I'd do a quick update as it's been a bit of time...
The V12V market seems to have vanished into thin air and the only V12VS at or below £100k is the same one from Grange Brentwood with 27k miles. As I average 10k miles a year I don't like the idea of it having 37k in 12 months. It is a good price though: under £95k.
So basically, like any other guy out there...I've obviously had to just INCREASE my budget. Oops, hope wifey doesn't find out...but it's now £115k.
The trouble is, increasing the budget means you start getting close to absolutely stunning Astons such as this beautiful Vanquish for £118k at Stratstone Western Avenue:
I think I'm in love...I could literally stare at that Vanquish all day and not even drive it. I've never seen a better looking car...
Life ain't easy, is it??

Beautiful! Is it 6 or 8 speed? Get it bought before it's sold!
At that money its a six speed. Still rather have a V12V though. Test drove both the Vqs 6- and 8-speed, and the 8-speed comes as close to a dual clutch box as it can get. But of course as a real Man(ual) fan you go for the V12V or the DBS manual! :-)
