My mum had a Sunbeam Imp Sport, the sporty one with twin carbs, and 55bhp. Wow it seemed fast.

I passed my test and Mum lent me that car, 17 years old and three weeks after the test. That night I experienced my first oversteer, followed quickly by my first overcorrection, then my first spin, then my only experience of turning a car over frown

Ah, yes! Oversteer and over correction in an Imp! Such happy memories!
Never managed to roll mine though!

Wow that ramp's neat.

Personally, I would have the AM on the ramp though [& up in the air] - no chance of it getting crushed that way cry

You're wrong. The rationale of storage surely has to be based upon the likelihood of using it.

So faced with that dilemma how often do you reckon the speedster comes out? Would you really park up the V12V to get a porker out?
If that was my setup, unless it was snowing heavily the right hand door could stay closed, the power could fail and I'd still be happy.

Just taken delivery of many boxes from Mototile, plus have already bought a lot of white emulsion and a roller. I see a busy bank holiday weekend ahead of me.

[did a quick horizontal flip on both cars - so they point the right way]

Before

After (3 days, 11 trips to the tip, and much sweat later)

Just need the car to go in it now - looking at a few this weekend hopefully.

Very nice yes I think the wings on the brick wall give it a nice "workshop" like feel to it.

Nice!

Maybe don't tell the seller / dealer you have already made space in your garage and put a massive AM logo on the wall. You may lose a bit of bargaining power wink

Enjoy the search!

I was searching garage photos, and found this one. Seems to be floating in air with no car attached. A little surrealistic, don't you think?
