They have a team of "asset managers" there so deal in a lot of collectibles.
Often these things don't even move and the V5 doesn't alter.
They are pure investments and not to be driven.
Far too much of it around for a true petrol head like me.
It does hold up values of the "lesser" versions BUT it ain't a car if it can't be driven

For what it's worth I regret not having bought mine from an Aston dealer, not just for a no quibble warranty, but hopefully for better reparation. Mine's completely awesome but it's frustrating how many small issues I have needed to address, all of which were a pain via the dealer I bought from

I so struggle with that much money. It doesn't even have the later electric seat controls.

I'd be interested in opinions re what I'm doing to the value of my DBS by sticking about 10K miles per annum on it. I'm hoping that although it will be way lower value than a low mileage car, its value will plateau at a still reasonable level eventually
I think at the rate they're currently being sold, even a relatively high miler will still be selling at an inflated cost as they are a rarity at the moment. As to how long this will last, back to the crystal ball. I'm just glad I've got one! That's my plan Bincenzo! What a great situation...I get to drive a completely awesome car every day and its value doesn't plummet like Porsches I have owned in the past. Double bonus is that I was able to afford this mainly because my previous V8V Roadster held its value better than expected, even with 70K miles on it when I sold it!

I see, they always seem to have some very nice stock, thought they looked like a decent outfit from the outside anyway.
VVS? Mainly Lamborghini and I have to say they were nice to deal with. However, probably like all non-franchised dealers they aren't really interested once they've sold the car and you can't really rely on the car being prepped the way an Aston dealer would. However, all that is kind of reflected in the price paid!bp81 said:
Happy to have a conversation if you were thinking of shifting yours
