This thread has now gone on a very random excursion. I must commend the OP for the weirdest thread on PH I have read so far today.

In the vernacular of the 'yoof' of today... This Thread Delivers.

Having been here at the outset its very simple.

New OP doesnt introduce himself but starts a thread dissing DMS for a problem with Royal Mail and a missing service book.

He is recently recovering from paying £3,000 for a pervy service. Cant say I blame him, you should get a lot of perviness for £3,000.

On top of which a mouse enters the scenario and bites through a brake light cable costing an additional £800 because it is located in a deep hidden place, which obviously the mouse found easier to find than the technician.
Apparently mices aren't covered by warranty.

On top of his woes the OP appears to have lost his passport, thus preventing him from going on holiday and ensuing he may stay around on here for future entertainment.

So far, but I am still waiting, there has been no mention of bacon butties.

I think that just about summarises it. wink

Shmee let me try to explain

The OP had a mouse in his rear light which created a bill for £800 from a main dealer.....the OP then decided to use DMS for the service of his Aston...but them accused them on this forum of being beastly cuz he forgot to stamp his service book.....Royal Mail or some other postal service then lost the service book which resulted in the OP retracting his beastly remark about DMS

What is the talk of solicitors about? Is the OP going to sue DMS because Royal Mail lost his service book?

Bacon you say? Only for certain clients I've heard...

This is the most confusing / inexplicable thread I've seen in the AM forum for some time - I am guessing the OP was deleted.

This is one of those old lateral thinking puzzles isn't it ? Is there a fisherman in a phone box involved ?

At least this thread has given the opportunity for Jockman to start a new list of things Michael Gould actually approves of.
Starting with any Aston related topic which includes a mouse.biggrin

Di, remember when you and Tony used to have family days out together at, say, the zoo ??

Remember those big signs all over the place saying "Do not feed the animals" ??

Well, I'm in that sort of position.

I would rather give myself a hot Brazilian waxing than start another list for Mr Gould biggrin

That's not what I'd got.
I'd understood that there was a pervy mouse in the clear rear light cluster on OPs car. While it was gnawing on a bacon sarnie it inadvertantly chomped an expensive wire. The driver of the RXXXl Mail van following was so suprised by the silhouetted mouse in the brake light, he/she swerved off the road and the service book was destroyed in the ensuing conflagration.
RXXXl mail are now suing DMS for consequential losses arising from indiscriminate use of bacon sandwiches.

I may have got that wrong though.

Made more sense than what the OP has written. Although I'm not the best at translating primary school level English that he wrote it in.

Georgeous, I'm assuming from the name 'Yang' that English may not have been his first language.

Not sure if you're still in Spain, but when I was on the iphone Pistonheads in my hotel in Seville I was unable to actually get into Member's profiles due to the abbreviated nature of the device.

Unless of course I'm just a techno numpty smile
