The trouble being that a different kind of twunt will then key the Aston parked in two bays, believing THEM to be a twunt !!
^^ ThisOnly a matter of time sadly - hardly a fitting punishment for the crime of bad parking, but nor is having your wing mirror kicked off simply for the crime of owning something nicer than someone else Beware, these people do exist and they shop in supermarkets.
As with Neil, I only ever park far away where possible; failing that never next to a people carrier, 4x4 or anything with a child seat. I try and park next to Beemers, Audis or Mercs as their owners are likely to be at least vaguely aware of the value of something.
I've done it before !
I never park in the disabled or mother/child bays but in the Aston, in say a supermarket car park, I park far away and straddle two spaces - what's more inconsiderate - straddling two bays, parking in mother & child when you're clearly a middle aged man on their own in a flash car, parking like RVP did a day or two ago, or not having any consideration for the person parked next to you and banging your door into their P&J ?
Two wrongs don't make a right but I feel forced into parking the way I do and frankly, I couldn't give a monkeys what anyone else thinks !

No excuse...appalling. Arrogance & vanity at a stratospheric level, PP just finishes it off.
What does it have to do with vanity? Not wanting your car damaged by someone slamming a car door into the side is vain now is it?Robbo66 said:
Yes...parking your car and taking up two spaces as near as possible to your destination whilst denying another person the ability to park in the same area, with the added perceived 'bonus' to the selfish, shallow individual, of their pride and joy being viewed by many more people. Park further away !.
I try to park at the quiet side of the car park. I reckon 80% of the time ill come back to the car to find some prick parked right next to it, even with loads of other spaces around. Therefore I don't bother now and will just take up two spaces. I don't care if people think its shallow or selfish. I'd rather be shallow and selfish and not have my car damaged by someone. It really is the action of a complete tool..... Well done..blimey this is a lively one !
parking far away and straddling two spaces is not mutually exclusive, despite the posts above implying the contrary. No-one has said you should park really close AND straddle two spaces - that is selfish. But parking miles away where there are plenty of empty spaces AND then straddling two spaces is not selfish.....in fact it's sensible

Seems perfectly acceptable to me. I park like that if I ever go to a supermarket in the DB9
indeed it morphed from using two spaces, to parking outside the main door like that. i dont recall anyone saying they did that.
nothing like making up your own facts to make a pointless point. i think it is selfish to park across two mother and baby spaces. this is another thing that also didnt happen.
doh !
