Seconded. As an aside, nature has designed us with a very good umbrella - it's called skin and whilst semi permeable is virtually waterproof. fking umbrellas, whatever next......

That's all well and good if you plan on walking around naked! If you wear non-waterproof clothes like most people, you will find they just absorb the water smile

Simon my DB9 has leather fixing hooks in the boot but they are essentially to fit the very expensive AM umbrella rather than the larger cheapo Stratstone one I have smile
I have four black things that look like fixing points in the boot and I have the AM umbrella. Just not the straps. I think I have a weekend project smile
in the roadster, their are 4 fixing hooks on all cars, for attaching the wind deflector bag to, regardless of whether you have a wind deflector or not

the umbrella straps are leather and velcro together, so width of the umbrella should not be an issue. providing you get an umbrella which is not too long to fit in the boot against the back wall, I can't see why the straps wouldn't accomodate any umbrella. the straps are each fitted to a single fixing point

In the big grown ups car the umbrella that Stratstone flogged me for a bloody fortune is to wide for the back wall. It does have a torch though biggrin I just let it rattle around with my piece shoot

Not a euphamism but I can see where you're coming from. Nicely worked!

What work are you needing, nothing serious I hope. I'm kind of hoping that Wilmslow are a decent outfit??

On the service side - Yes they are tbh. I spent the morning with Keith and his team on Tuesday. Nothing is ever too much trouble.

They are of course not everyone's cup of tea and I do shop round for the most competitive deal when I require something major.

They have never serviced my car smile

6 days out the waiting isn't so bad plus you have Christmas to distract you. This is the easy bit, wait until the night before and more so the day you collect, it will be hell smile

Keep looking at a picture of it on my work computer every once in a while. Not conducive to being a productive employee!
