RH in DB9 Volante: it's not as good a babe magnet as a puppy!
JM in Virage: it handles like a sports car, it's rubbish

Much better TG this week, but. Shame the cars didn't get a decent review, as I'd have liked to have got a real feel for what they thought. Mind you, we've had plenty of professional reviews, so actually a bit of fun was quite nice. Quite fancy a go in those Aermacchis!

Hardly a review of it really. I don't think they said any positives/negatives or anything about the spec of the car.

That Viper was horrible, but the LF-A has grown on me a bit.

Re 55mph stunt. Anyone care to hazard a guess what speed it should have been showing. Looked like it went from 3rd to 4th at around 6500rpm.

3rd gear at ~6k rpm is around 95 in the DB9. Doubt the gearing is much different in the 310quish?

I mentioned about 7 months ago that I saw the two Vanq's that were headed to Top Gear.

One was that horrid flat Blue colour.,, Actually looked better on the program than it did under the factory lights.

These two cars have been around since June last year, left the Factory late June 2012.

They were parked side by side near the sign off area.

Shame they didn't run the power laps, though these might be done off camera and then added next week to the board.

Bleedin' hell people it's only a bloody colour. I'm sure when the Vanquish's value drops to a suitable level for the general public then you'll be able to get a non-Elwood Blue version!

Btw, I loved the colour! Very similar to Porsche Riviera Blue.

Beautiful car just a bit of a crap colour. The LFA makes a lovely noise

I was very disappointed with the programme, which turned out to be no more than a lads' day out. Childish doughnut competitions and drag racing sequences were a complete waste of time and rubber! I would like to see a serious review of the Vanquish before TG is scrapped.
