Phil, you are a gentleman and a scholar.

Many a time you diffused silly spats on this forum, took a thread to places nobody dared to go, and generally brought some much needed levity to proceedings.

Very much indeed chatting to you and Pit Babe (you've done very well there, and I love the fact you know it) on various runs out.

Like others, I has started to wonder what had happened to you, so glad to you're well but equally sad to hear you're leaving. I sincerely hope you "do a Di" and come back now and again, tell us off when required, and eventually end up back in an AM.

I only met you on a couple of occasions but both were entertaining and you were excellent company. As others have said, you can still post here even if the Aston is going. To be honest, you never actually posted much car related stuff so there won't really be any change

I hope you leaving the fold doesn't preclude us visiting The Square sometime soon.
