Quite correct Mikey.
I even manage to annoy myself with the amount of "off topic " drivel I write. smile

Yes that's what I thought .
Why so much ?
Holy Mother of Zeus !
You do have to disassemble the top of the motor to reach them. How long that takes I don't know. But if I was doing it, it'd be a couple of days working on and off at a deliberate pace.

Peter just peeked at your profile.
That car you're sitting in would make a great Xmas present for my old mate Jockers, is it as fast as it looks ? smile

Thanks Steve, they did say they would need the car for 2/3 days.
It's at times like this I curse myself for not having the techy knowledge. frown

Because to do the plugs, the inlet manifolds need to come off, and they have some rather expensive gaskets that then need replacing (£200.00). Aston Martin dealers also charge an absolute fortune for the plugs too. I bought a set of the top spec NGK Iridiums for under £60 the set of 12, for which the dealer wants £275.00.

I will be doing my plugs shortly myself if anyone wants me to do a step-by-step photo write-up I will be happy to oblige.

Whilst in there, I may replace the breather valves too.

There is no need to do the plugs at very low mileages as they are designed to last that long anyway as the Platinums and Iridiums do not suffer from electrode erosion or corrosion like the standard copper tipped plugs.

Thank you all very much for your input.
It has helped me to have more of an understanding of that which I need to discuss with the garage.
