No worries Adam ...and if you get around to it before me please do likewise
Oh..I got a reply from the superbly named Dan McCool at DrColorChip advising that they ship direct from there and have no UK agent
Problem I see with DrColour is its over in the US and not here
I have come accross this stuff - http://www.chipex.co.uk/ which looks like the same product.
I want to sort the stonecips of the rear arch and then cover it with Armafiend. Anyone used Chipex

I'm not sure why it matters where it's from if it's a good product?I have come accross this stuff - http://www.chipex.co.uk/ which looks like the same product.

Anyway my personal advise would be to use one of the products you like (test it in an inconspicuous area first).
Then fit the stone guards (mud flaps) and then add the high part of the rear arch helicopter tape area. This should stop anymore
stone chips in this area.
Stone guards are about £70 and the helicopter tape is around the £40 for both sides.

I think my point re the USA would be delivery cost and not the quality of the product.Anyway my personal advise would be to use one of the products you like (test it in an inconspicuous area first).

Where can I get both sides for £40 as thats my intention
Wow..quick response...as per below
"Hi Graham,
Thank you for your message.
The Chipex product is not the same as the Dr. Color Chip product however the application and removal process is similar.
I would be happy to offer you a Group Buy Discount of 25% but would ask that you find 20+ people on the forum to put their names forward to buy. As soon as 20+ people have put their names down on the forum I can then issue a discount code that will allow everyone to make their purchase.
Should you have any questions please do feel free to give me a call.
Best regards,
Johnny Graham"
I guess 20+ people is a lot...
Edited to add that I have emailed him to ask if we can open this up to a wider PH audience!

I got mine from Lancaster Reading but I would have though any dealer or Rick could get them for you.
They sell the four pieces as separates. If I remember rightly cost was £20 for each piece.
Update on the Chipex thing...
PH doesnt allow mass advertising of bulk offer deals but (Paul) Garlick will allow this thread to stand so the 25% off if 20+ people show an interest on this thread, will stay.
Out of interest the chap at Chipex sent me a link to a BMW thread will a review of the product on it

Well afraid no pics to support, but I used Dr ColourChip at the weekend. I wanted to improve the looks of the road rash, along the rear wings. When I applied the paint, I had the fear, as it looked as though I may have ballsed up!.... However... following the process through, and I was very happy with the results. It is not a miracle cure, and could probably do with another coat to get the mini chips that I missed first time around - but I am impressed enough to be able to recommend it for this purpose.
