Its you Friday update.
We are now sat on 486 cars registered to attend this event so our initial target of 500 cars is now in sight.
Can I encourage the missing 14 to now step forward in a push to get to the magic figure, once we get to 500 its all down hill and I promise
to shut up banging on about it……
It really is shaping up to be an extremely colourful event that you won't want to miss, remember AML and Andy Palmer are right behind this exciting Event and very shortly I will
be able I'm sure to tell you there most impressive line up.
I can't let it slip just yet but maybe when we hit the magic number I might get Factory permission to spill the beans.
It now looks likely that the Battle of Britain Memorial flight team will be making two visits now during our day just to keep it interesting with the Lancaster now likely to arrive during the morning
as a stand alone display.
Don't panic everyones favourite the Spitfire will be arriving along with the Hurricane during the afternoon and most likely during our Raffle and Auction as it did last time.
Please remember if you want to order your copy of the Event poster at a cost of £25.00 please shoot me a mail as I will then order your copy for you to collect and pay for on the day.
Right thats everyone in the picture so lets all pull together to find the elusive 17 and then I'll seek permission to tell you whats coming from AML as you just might be very surprised...

I'm looking forward to putting a few faces to PH names at Burgley.
But how do we recognise people 'in the flesh'?
Can I suggest we each put a card with our PH names in our windscreens?
I had a word with Ed and he is ok with the idea.
What do you think?
James
Simples. Just buy yourself a private number plate to match your username. You still got time to find one before July... But how do we recognise people 'in the flesh'?

Worked for me:
As Molly once said make yourselves a Badge to wear.
I bet you've all watched Blue Peter at sometime in your life and have the hidden urge to p*ss about with sticky backed plastic and a Corn Flake box.
Prize for the best one that turns up on the day.
Over to the imaginative among you,but make sure you are supervised by an adult…….
Back to the task in hand,we are now just 13 short of the magic number so with the weekend upon us can we get motivated and find the missing Bakers dozen.
I promise it will be worth rocking up for,I'm even going myself this year…..
Come on get your as mates revved up or the guy in the company car park, you know we only live twice and this is the second DO.

Just so you know the room has now gone and taken by me so bring on the weekend activities.
One of your auctions the trip to New York looks a good one and the sponsoring company have really looked after me.
Got a trip planned for August to Hong Kong and Bali via BA and got called last week with an upgrade to first class which has got me so many points with the wife the Burghley day is now a weekend
So well worth giving Bobby a call.
Can't wait to hear what Andy Palmer is bringing along hopefully the GT8 at the factory as I have to wait until October for mine!
Enjoy that roadster and the sun

Don't forget to contact Clive as he is waiting to hear from a few more of you that need to go home making plenty of noise.
This is a fine gesture on Clive's part so please if your thinking of a switch please contact Clive to get yours booked………..NOW !.
During your day at Burghley you will now be able to have a Clive Chedzey Exhaust Bypass Switch fitted to your car.
Clive has kindly donated 25 units to the cause with all the proceeds going to our Charities of the Day.
If you would like to take up Clive's most generous offer and book your appointment for Clive to visit your car whilst at Burghley please email Clive.
clive.chedzey@ntlworld.com
Clive tells me he can fit these switches in under 10 minutes so go on lets make it "Challenge Clive",the cost to have your switch fitted on the day is £80.00 and as
I mentioned previously that goes in full to charity.
Check out the units on Clives website www.cccharger.co.uk if you wish as they are extremely good units.
Thats another super donation generously made to support this Event thank you and if anyone else would like to offer anything whether it be for the Raffle or Auction I'd be pleased to hear from you…….thumbup
