Yet you are happy to make presumptions.
I'm thrilled you've learned plenty from this thread albeit not the precise incident details you so crave.
I'm out. It's time to go and get a beer.

No, not presumption; speculation. I'm thrilled you've learned plenty from this thread albeit not the precise incident details you so crave.
I'm out. It's time to go and get a beer.
Have a lovely evening
Edit: Honestly, you really should try a less aggressive approach in general.
I'm sure you're a lovely fella in RL, but I have no clue why you went off on one here. I apologise for reacting badly, in a couple of cases.
I'm out too. Be well, and take care.

@northernmedia: Did you have the Sport button on? I never drive in Sport mode in the wet, the throttle is much more sensitive which is nice in the dry but not so in the wet as I experienced going sideways on the motorway while it rained.
Yes it's on whenever I drive it!I might now change that for certain conditions
There have now been a number of frightening surprise occasions mentioned.
Are you all V12 drivers?
As a humble V8 man. I keep the DSC switched on, and it has operated a number of times, but only on occasions when I had expected there might be a loss of grip, usually acceleration out of corners. At least by anticipating, I avoid that awful 'heart in mouth' feeling.
I have not experienced lack of grip problems during wet weather, but I must own up, my Aston Martin is (I am afraid) mostly a pampered dry weather car.
