You could leave them in their boxes, may get another week or two out of them..

They probably paid 60-65 for them based on their retail,but then a lot depends on condition of car and how much work they needed to do ,plus the factors listed above,someone trading in against a new car would have got a lot more than someone who was just getting out of the the car.
If they are competitively priced in the market you won't get much off .

The trouble is....there are different skills to selling or buying these cars.

If selling, you just want the best deal - no prisoners taken etc..

When buying these things it's SO important to find the right car, not the cheapest car. And that's when emotion starts to cloud judgements.....

Bit like buying / selling houses tbh

Know a bit about the financial side as used to be a RM for a few garages...

Not in any dash (apart from how once you've decided, then you want one on your drive asap)....

Going to look at a few and will offer low and see what they say !!!

I bet all the unbinding George's rear pads do from the lack of use chew pads quicker than that
