I did have a chuckle at the monster queue behind Cockers at the start He and Nick did a great job with that group and I am proud of you as well
You fairly cracked on following Retman to Shrewsbury
I still caught you up though
Right time to plan Johnny 550 in Jockland
I think the perception - wrongly - was that the three groups were being split into Fast, Moderate and Slow. Ironic really when you realise the leader of the 'Moderate' group is an ex UK Rally Champ (or whatever), a full time lunatic and a part time homo. You fairly cracked on following Retman to Shrewsbury

FFS I had Steve 897SMA in my group and he would normally be closely stalking Rob
What a great day out
Got back last night safely and had a great run over to Ludlow via Knighton on the A488 which was empty of traffic
Excellent route Mike, some great roads that worked really well and will be fab for taking my Caterham over
Cliff and I had a bit of hoon coming over to the hotel which kind of set the mood for my day
Following Rob, that exhaust Social Handgrenade, yup that makes perfect sense
Seeing the poor little lambs flee for their lives up the hillside as Rob nailed it and set off yet more machine gun crackle and explosions from his pipes was funny.
The racket going over the dam, better do some crack testing to ensure the dam is still intact!
And the video of the whole day has a perfect soundtrack because it was performed by a fellow Jock brethren
Top day out folks, well done to everybody for taking part and making it a lot of fun

It's all been said but I have got to say it again- fantastic weekend and a brilliant job done by Mikey. When I wasn't concentrating on that thin strip of Tarmac/gravel the scenery was stunning too.
Another thanks to Mikey for spotting the unmarked Volvo and Jockman relaying the info in the nick of time. It luckily caught me up whilst I was waiting to pass a van and followed for some miles. My expression was a mix of and .
Having said that I thought Jockman was going to undo all the good work when were picking Miss Daisy and the Pit Babe up. A group of policemen came over to look at the cars and the first thing Phil did was jump out of his car and shout 'I saved you sixty quid there mate'

I would also like to echo all of the above and thank Mikey for all his hard work
in putting together such a brilliant couple of days. Those roads in my humble
opinion have got to be the best yet.
Finally, great to meet you all, old and new and glad you all got back home safely.
p.s . Mikey, give my best wishes to Kay, hope she will be feeling better soon.

Thanks for posting video, superb. I just wish I could have heard the V12 a bit more but hey, it teased the life out of me listening for it.Jockman said:

That's what I meant Cockers. Whenever I type in your name my prescriptive text suggests the word 'homo' and I forgot to overwrite it
You owe me £751
That is similar to when I type Jockers it has a complete description of short blue tight arse, who is clearly punching above his weight. But I like to keep Jockers You owe me £751
nothing to do with me How was that £85 bottle of wine then Tracy said thanks for the wine.

Does anyone know what happened to LInsay and his chat with the boys in blue at the petrol station?
He has usually posted up by now - it could have been a chat about how nice his car was (another Midnight Blue, like Sukh's) Perhaps he and Sharon have made a weekend of it ??

Good to see you in action mate........I don't think there was a wife / girlfriend / mistress / bar staff that you didn't speak with.
What with you and le Yeti, the girls were really spoilt this weekend
As I said on the night matey, that's the Naval Officer in me. You can imagine what's it like at a Cocktail party on board! I just love chatting to people, hearing all about their lives. Great meeting so many friendly people though, made to feel really welcome. Looking forward to the next one. What with you and le Yeti, the girls were really spoilt this weekend

If I take the music off all you get is wind noise because of where the camera is
Which back bit are you using on the GoPro? I use the waterproof one and don't get much wind noise even at 140+ mph.Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
