You getting a new car tomorrow then?
I love your dry sense of humour... Do you talk like this in real life or is it just for the forums? biggrin

Damn it guys all these photos above ^^ are torturing me even more. All great photos though. smile

12.5 hours to go...

To satisfy the wait I've just ordered a set of these carbon fibre babies:

...and the travel flask, the wallet, the pen and pencil set, the teddy bear (for the wife), the mug... hehe

I am another first time Aston owner - straight in with a V12V. Fabulous in every way. Thoroughly enjoyed the thread and could nor resist adding my first pic to help Nijius Maximus have an even more restless night....

Impeccable taste sir, going in with the V12V as your first Aston! I love Morning Frost on the V12V - I remember seeing it for the first time when Shmee150 put his father's V12V up on YouTube. It's equally as stunning as the black in my opinion especially with the stark contrast of the black bonnet vents against the white.

Weather is looking to dry but cold so you should be able to enjoy those country lanes, watch those corsa tyres though.

I'm expecting those pictures of Grange as dawn breaks with a CB waiting to be given its freedom to be on here before the rest of us are up smile
Will update photos throughout the morning: from catching the train at King's Cross to ending up in the ditch and subsequent ambulance after not warming the Corsas enough...

Well guys (and any girls lurking), I've been a BAD, BAD boy...

Last night one of my wife's friends came over with a bottle of wine. Just one glass I said as I was feeling tired and needed to wake up early. Then we opened the bottle of champagne. Oops.

The result was that I was too hungover this morning (and definitely in no state to drive a rear wheel drived 5.9l V12) to pick up the car! So have re-arranged for the same time tomorrow. Take two.

In all fairness if I had picked up the car I wouldn't have remained this silent on this thread: I would've kept you lot updated with photos of my day. Which is what will happen tomorrow. smile

So let's restart the countdown to 19 hours 45 minutes...

Haha, yes it is stupid of me. I blame the other two people encouraging me to drink(!) It's still dry all day in Welwyn tomorrow plus my cousin is coming with me tomorrow so can't let her down as well! smile

His behaviour could be excused if he thought said partaking of alcoholic beverages might lead to a threesome. Depending of course on what the wife's friend looks like.

Just getting them to take out the fuse... Take them twenty mins.

So just chilling with my cousin - she's amazed and taking loads of photos. Just recorded the startup - uploading...

And amazingly met another PH reader of this thread who was picking up a DB9! Small world. smile

We've just been driving for the last hour. Absolutely loving it, great soundtrack from the exhaust every time we pass any enclosed space!

Stopped off at a hotel bar somewhere near Bedford and have got lots more photos to upload to the shared album...

Haven't been past fourth gear and kept sport mode on 99% of the time... biggrin

Not as fast and grippy as the R8. But who the hell cares?! You can't wipe the grin off myself and my cousin's faces...

You shouldve popped in like the other PH reader - paperwork took AGES. We were there for over two hours... wink
