Damn it guys all these photos above ^^ are torturing me even more. All great photos though.
12.5 hours to go...
To satisfy the wait I've just ordered a set of these carbon fibre babies:

I am another first time Aston owner - straight in with a V12V. Fabulous in every way. Thoroughly enjoyed the thread and could nor resist adding my first pic to help Nijius Maximus have an even more restless night....
Impeccable taste sir, going in with the V12V as your first Aston! I love Morning Frost on the V12V - I remember seeing it for the first time when Shmee150 put his father's V12V up on YouTube. It's equally as stunning as the black in my opinion especially with the stark contrast of the black bonnet vents against the white.Edited by Nijius Maximus on Tuesday 9th February 20:14

Weather is looking to dry but cold so you should be able to enjoy those country lanes, watch those corsa tyres though.
I'm expecting those pictures of Grange as dawn breaks with a CB waiting to be given its freedom to be on here before the rest of us are up
Will update photos throughout the morning: from catching the train at King's Cross to ending up in the ditch and subsequent ambulance after not warming the Corsas enough...I'm expecting those pictures of Grange as dawn breaks with a CB waiting to be given its freedom to be on here before the rest of us are up
Well guys (and any girls lurking), I've been a BAD, BAD boy...
Last night one of my wife's friends came over with a bottle of wine. Just one glass I said as I was feeling tired and needed to wake up early. Then we opened the bottle of champagne. Oops.
The result was that I was too hungover this morning (and definitely in no state to drive a rear wheel drived 5.9l V12) to pick up the car! So have re-arranged for the same time tomorrow. Take two.
In all fairness if I had picked up the car I wouldn't have remained this silent on this thread: I would've kept you lot updated with photos of my day. Which is what will happen tomorrow.
So let's restart the countdown to 19 hours 45 minutes...

It's still dry all day in Welwyn tomorrow plus my cousin is coming with me tomorrow so can't let her down as well! Well Thursday is gonna be wet.....and Friday.....better postpone till March..... Startup video coming soon... We've just been driving for the last hour. Absolutely loving it, great soundtrack from the exhaust every time we pass any enclosed space!
Stopped off at a hotel bar somewhere near Bedford and have got lots more photos to upload to the shared album...
Haven't been past fourth gear and kept sport mode on 99% of the time...
Not as fast and grippy as the R8. But who the hell cares?! You can't wipe the grin off myself and my cousin's faces...

Congratulations on your new car, I drove past Grange in Welwyn this morning and wondered if you'd made it there today. You've certainly been lucky with the weather!
You shouldve popped in like the other PH reader - paperwork took AGES. We were there for over two hours... Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
